Communications with someone special are not about content going back and forth. They are about feeling the presence of the person on the other side. Feel Me is a sweet connection and a playful link with the person on the other side, opening a channel for a nonverbal and interactive connection. Feel Me is a simple and new way to enrich digital communications.

Feel Me is a project by Marco Triverio that explores the gap between synchronous and asynchronous communication using our mobile device in attempt to “connect differently” and enrich digital communications. Whereas we draw lines between phone conversations and sms messages, Feel Me looks for space in between that would allow you to be intimate in realtime, non-verbally using touch.

Based on the finding for which communications with a special person are not about content going back and forth but rather about perceiving the presence of the other person on the other side, Feel Me opens a real-time interactive channel.

Instagram arrives on Android.

Instagram for Android is available as a free download from Google Play and it will work with Android devices running Android 2.2 and above.

Just a few weeks after teasing an Android app at SXSW, Instagram just announced that it’s making an Android version of its app available today in the Google Play Store. According to Instagram, over 430,000 Android users had signed up for the app on the company’s waiting list a week and a half ago. Since its launch in 2010, the app has been an iOS exclusive, and today after years of waiting, it’s finally up as a free public download.
